[[Learn More about Patrick.]]

I was born and raised in San Francisco, California, and I very much love everything the city has taught me. Whether it was a love for public libraries or learning about the City's tumultuous past, my experience growing up in the Bay is the reason why I wanted to pursue writing. It's why I write with the ethos "Each person has a story, and each one deserves to be heard."
The world of fiction acts as a way for us to explore this phrase in a safe pseudo-reality. To a greater extent, games serve as the ultimate narrative medium to tell fiction, as they allow audiences to partake in the story, instead of merely absorbing it. It's the difference between being an active and passive participant. If I can show people what I've learned and seen through a medium as expressive as video games, then I will stop at nothing to have my voice be heard.
I'm an avid gamer, with some personal favorites being Disco Elysium - The Final Cut and Fallout: New Vegas. My favorite TV show is The Bear (season two is damn near perfect television), and my favorite book series is Ryoko Kui's Delicious in Dungeon (Kui's understanding of Western fantasy tropes makes her eventual deconstruction of them unique in an oversaturated genre).
I also play Magic: The Gathering and occasionally DM a D&D campaign or two (when schedules align cosmically amongst friends).
